Gian Devi Nandrajog charitable trust was founded in 2002 in Ferozepur City (Punjab), India. This trust was founded by her husband (Late) Sh. Bhagwant Rai Nandrajog with an initial undertaking to create a green environment for the people of Ferozepur . It started with a park in the heart of the city providing a natural healthy environment comprising of green trees and flower beds throughout the year. This park was named as Gian Devi Vatika which is now popular with all citizens of Ferozepur as it offers various play stations for children and a walking track for all age groups.
Moving forward, trust mandates to take its community services to the next level by supporting the education of children and providing Vocational training to underprivileged women to be self-reliant. To the best of our knowledge, more than 5 million people in Ferozepur lack access to basic facilities, i.e., clean water, electricity, education, and the freedom to self-employment and achieve financial freedom. The Gian Devi Nandrajog trust is committed to making this change.
Our board of trustees comprises of family members and local representatives of Ferozepur. These members are aware of the needs of the local communities and provide strategic advice and guidance to help us serve and empower the people of Ferozepur. The composition of the Board of Trustees is changed periodically in conformity with the TRUST DEED as decided by the AGM.
